Doctor's tombstone




Since I'm a doctor, I find myself eerily attracted to this tombstone of one of my profession who died in 1768. He was only 42. The poignant poem reads:
"No longer ye physician's art avails,
But every remedy its master fails."

    Wow, that is a fitting epitath. Many old stones seem far more personal than the newer ones.
