Overcast




The orchard, like the rest of southern New England, is waiting under increasingly lowering skies for the storm bearing down upon us.

    I love this shot and the effects on it. It started coming down in NYC in the past hour. I am all stocked up with wine, so I am going to Keep Calm and Carry On :-)

    This is so fine. A timeless image of winter. I have only heard you say a lowering sky and it is such an expressive trope.

    @Laura: no PhotoShop here. The photo was take with my iPhone and editied with one of its apps, each of which costs a dollar or two.
