I love this shot and the effects on it. It started coming down in NYC in the past hour. I am all stocked up with wine, so I am going to Keep Calm and Carry On :-)
Wow, does this look like a barren wilderness right at home with the storm that's coming. Already started here. Look forward to seeing it in the morning before anyone messes it up.

ReplyDeleteThis has a lovely 'olde worlde' look about it.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks Japanese or Chinese because of its simplicity. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Bobbie. It has a vintage feel of impending doom!

ReplyDeleteThe color toning and framing are perfect on your image.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity, love the processing, love the framing...this is so unique and artistic!
ReplyDeleteCool the way the overcast seems to be hanging right over the top of the trees. I like that processing too.
ReplyDeleteWow - that processing makes this look like something I might have found in Grandma's photo drawer....
ReplyDeleteWonderful processing for this image.
ReplyDeleteNow that is definitely the barren should look.
ReplyDeleteyou make it clear, overcast will not be an obstacle for having a wonderful picture. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe processing and framing are so wonderful...looks like a vintage scene.
ReplyDeleteYour processing made this a real piece of art.
ReplyDeleteThis is so fine. A timeless image of winter. I have only heard you say a lowering sky and it is such an expressive trope.
ReplyDeleteLove your processing on this. I need to learn "PhotoShop" but haven't made the investment yet. Excellent job.
ReplyDelete@Laura: no PhotoShop here. The photo was take with my iPhone and editied with one of its apps, each of which costs a dollar or two.
