Ferry

This is the tugboat that pulls the Rocky Hill Ferry across the Connecticut River. This ferry I'd the oldest continually operated ferry in the US--plying the waters since 1655. I used ProHDR to take the picture with the iPhone.

Grocery shopping

Stew Leonard's--a local grocery chain that specializes in fresh foods, not to mention singing cows, chickens and bananas--was frenetic today, what with everyone shopping for the long holiday weekend. This photo was processed in Picture Show, a new iPhone app.

Wild Iris

These wild irises grow on the shore of Paper Goods Pond. Some basic processing was done in PhotoForge and TiltShift Generator.

Yellow

...and blue and red. Today was the annual UpBeat picnic. UpBeat is a leadership training/drug and alcohol prevention program. The picnic is our big fundraiser. We serve free hot dogs and soda to the whole town--over 6000 hot dogs. There are all sorts of activities, including this "jumpy thing." I used LiveFX to add a motion blur and PhotoGene to punch up contrast and saturation.

Bricks

This evening, we walked past the old factory that's being renovated into condos. Clearly there's still a lot of work to be done! Taken with the Hipstamatic app, some additional processing was done in SwankoLab.
