Sunset at Paper Goods Pond

For just a few moments, the sky and the water glowed pink. I played around with the filters in PhotoForge to get this watercolor effect.

Church

Kensington Methodist Church this evening before the weekly Taize service. I used PhotoForge to bring out the glorious gold light of the late summer sun.

I would be embarrassed to admit how many photo apps I have; but in the end, PhotoForge is the one I'd want on a desert island with me.

Faucets

The faucets at our campground were quite colorful. Processing was done in Picture Show.

Downtown

Downtown Woodstock NY, where the hippies came for the festival and never left. Sunday evening is drumming circle on the town green. As we were making our way there, we overheard a grey haired dude in tie dye bitterly complaining to a cop that the drumming leader, "gave him the finger twice," and (worse!) was, "throwing off the beat." We wondered if this was a crime. Seems it must be...ten minutes later, TWO cops show up at the drumming circle & pull the leader off. Who knew there could beuch drama over drumming?

Airstream

The iconic Airstream camper...this one is parked at our campground. Look carefully, and it's a self-portrait, too. Minimal processing was done using PhotoForge.

Wine

A glass of wine in the Secret Garden is a lovely way to wind up the week. It only needed a few tweaks with PhotoForge.

Rain

A passing thunderstorm left crisp drops clinging to these leaves. Minimal adjustments were made in PhotoForge.
