Natural framing

This is the view from our campground on Chincoteague Island over to Assateague. They're hard to see in this photo, but on the distant shore, five wild ponies are grazing.

  2. Nice view. I like the choice of using the tree to frame the picture. The warm colors and leading lines would make it interesting in and of itself, but choosing to include the tree as a frame really makes it.

  3. As a horse-crazy kid (and teen) I always wanted to visit there. It looks wonderful! Glad not to see any raindrops!

  5. Great colors and no rain! I love the frame of the tree and the old piles leading off to the what I think of as the magic pony island. Must have read the same book as Val did.

  13. Great colors and framing. We visited the area a few years ago and I'm hoping to return sometime. It's amazing to see the horses out in the dunes.
