Given that the berries were blurry, I thought it might be time to use one of the more "extreme" filters to take advantage of the contrast of the brilliant red berries and their stems against the snow. I used the Cutout filter.

Errand day at the big box stores...and there in all the asphalt and slush was a small tree bearing these brilliant red berries. The wind was blowing, it was cold and I had my little point-and-shoot, so the berries are out of focus.
