Humor/Landmark

It seems that most of DC was either repairing earthquake damage or reconstructing in one way or another.  One of the biggest disappointments was that the Reflecting Pool that is supposed to create an iconic image of the Lincoln Memorial had become (IF you found the right angle and pointed your camera/phone into the interstices of the chain link fence) a Reflecting Puddle.

    Well Bobbie, while most of us have probably seen pictures of the Reflecting Pool, I would venture to say that not many (if any) have seen pictures of the Reflecting Puddle! Love your sense of humor...when I fist saw the picture and caption on GR, I thought ?????

    I had no idea that the earthquake had caused so much damage....was hardly reported over here
