Urban/Massive
Since the Washington Monument is closed due to earthquake damage, the best place to catch a vista of DC is from the bell tower of the Old Post Office (something we were told by a random office worker who seemed to take a liking to us as we were bent over our map trying to figure out where the You Are Here arrow would be.) I had to take this through a pretty greasy window with my iPhone; the best way to hide the smudges and reflections was to add a few effects with PSE.

Great use of the iPhone smudgy window removal app! LoL
ReplyDeleteOMG, I LOVE this, Bobbie!!!! Have never seen this view and I love how all those orange roof tops lead us to the monument in the distance! Kind of like following one of those hedge mazes!
ReplyDeleteLove the finish. This pic would be a wonderful jigsaw puzzle.
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture, I agree with Helen, the orange leads you right to the monument. Have a great day!

Stunning image.
ReplyDeleteVery cool processing! I like the contrast between the low and tall; colorful and white.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot....very interesting vista
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of the prior comments - Great shot!
ReplyDeleteIt's a view of the area which I've never seen and that's quite a challenge when you think of how often this area is depicted in photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat Lorri said! Certainly not 'postcard' view.
