Fun/Boats

We camped last night at Lake Waramaug, out in the western part of the state, in the Litchfield Hills. Our campsite was lakeside, so we were able to pull our kayaks down to the water to launch them.  This morning, we shared this big usually busy lake with just the geese and a few herons.  There is a rental concession if you don't have your own kayak, but it was closed on a Monday.  Their boats were stacked on the shore.

  2. What fabulous color, I love how they are so bright but scratched up too.

Looks like a sort of mid range aperture ring? I am so often wrong with what I think will happen with my Lensbaby.

  3. @Ellen: It was either the f/4 or the f/2 (or 2.something.) Ii used a larger ring because the ambient light was fading. Have you read the Lensbaby book that's they sell on thier web site? It had a lot of good information about control in it. I got the e-book version for my Nook Color, which cost less than the paper book.

  4. Bobbie, what a great abstraction. I didn't know such bright colours could be soothing? If you hadn't had said boats, I might have guessed, giant pencils. Great shot, can I have it for my wall please ;-)
