  3. @Ron--I prefer them flying free, too; as, I'm sure, does their handler. Unfortunately, these are all "rescue birds." They've been injured and are unable to be returned to the wild.

  5. Raptors are such majestic creations. Am glad when the rescued birds can be ambassadors for those in the wild so that those who otherwise won't see them, can examine them up close. We had a wild pair that nested in our shelterbelt. It was amazing to witness the young fledge.
