We went for our walk to Paper Goods Pond, and there was this dude with his two parrots. The larger one is an African grey; I can't remember what the smaller one is. He let the larger one climb onto my finger. It was a completely unexpected experience. Processing done in TiltShift Generator.

You wouldn't want to be feeling SEEDY around those guys.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool surprise. Does he carry that perch around? I love seeing the nicely named Paper Goods Pond in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Those parrots look right at home. Have a great day!

Am I the only one? Birds just creep me out. A bird got in our apartment one night and I left until my husband got it out. lol He wasn't happy about that but birds just give me the heeby jeebies (is that a word).
ReplyDeleteActually, my mom is totally freaked out by birds, so you're not the only one!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they just sat there and didn't try to get a way, they know where their food comes from LOL Very cool find!
ReplyDeleteI love wild birds, but I don't like pet birds at all! Great image. I like how you got both birds so well and that he is talking to the large bird.
ReplyDeleteI love the angle you used to shoot the photo and the lines of the bench in counterpoint to the direction of the man's stare.
