In this scene, there is the movement of the kayaker and the canoeists, the paddles, and the water. The paddlers were just setting out onto Messerschmidt Pond in Deep River CT. Processing was done with PictureShow.
I really like the eroded frame. It does feel a bit dark, perhaps a little fill light would help bring a little more definition to the paddlers. I also enjoy the way the water turbulence changes and make the front kyaker look like he is about to paddle off the end of the earth.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.

I love how the kayaker is coming out of the shadows and into the light...fun frame too!
ReplyDeleteCool, cool, cool! I love all the movement your composition and processing give this.
ReplyDeleteCool indeed!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I'm going to have to check out this Picture Show app. (like I don't have enough already LOL)
