The first time we were able to get past the fence was in the spring after a deluge that left the town flooded. The falls were a raging torrent.

I would never say that out loud to Ron! :) Actually it still looks like there is a good amount of water - especially for a drought.

Yes I love those drizzling falls the is one up near Townsvile about 1,000 miles from here, which in the dry is a gorgeous picture but during the wet season is a Bloody Dangerous Torrent that has taken many a life. It is called the Barron Fall and youth is always willing to take on nature. In the wet season the falls win!
