It's been raining for days. It's going to rain for more days. Anywhere we look, it's all in shades of grey. It's rather disheartening. But then I see footage from areas around the Mississippi, and I'm grateful that all we have is lots of rain and shades of grey, but not the loss of home or livelihood.

Stunning and very mystical! LOVE,love!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my favourite Steeleye Span song,
ReplyDeleteOne musty Moisty Morning"

Looks like a great setting for a scary movie.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you were in a plane to take this. The weather is whacked, yet we have to accept record winter colds and snow, extreme tornados, 50+ degree temperature changes in a 24 hour period as normal, right?
ReplyDeleteToday is sunny again, but yesterdays was very wet with heavy showers of both rain and hailstones. Great image for the theme.
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbie,
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot! Definitely looks gray. It's been cold here all week. Temps barely making it out of the 40's with a good stiff wind blowing. Today it looks like it might rain. Have a great day!

Disheartening is definitely the right word. That's how it is here in Ohio, too, but my son in Savannah reminds me that there is still drought in many places down South, so I guess I need to be grateful and push away the blues.
ReplyDeleteWould be nice to see those clouds here We are waiting for rain here, our longest drought for years.
ReplyDeleteThey are thinking of hosepipe bans.
BTW, Ron Steeleye Span where a group I grew up with, last concert I went to of theirs was the 25th Anniversary in '94.

Great fit for the theme. Loads of grey in there! Looks like it could be hiding some interesting scenery
ReplyDeleteSame here, same here. :( The sun has to come out soon....
ReplyDeleteVery nice image! Unfortunately it is still grey most of the time!
ReplyDeleteOn a misty moisty morning when cloudy was the weather....Great moody photo!
