Sorry to hear John was ill, glad he's on the mend. (You know, a rolling pin and a threat works wonders to keep them from overdoing! I used that a time or two after my husband's stroke, when he wanted to prove to the world he could still do all the stuff he used to do at 20. ;)
Great takes on Beginnings in all its various connotations, Bobbi. And a great beginning to the year's challenge too... This is my first year; just hope I have the stamina and inspiration to continue and complete all 52. Glad to hear your hubbie's back home and hopefully improved or improving.
Like how you have come up with different pictures depicting the topic you started with....thought I would do that but can't think of any new ones for mine....need to get my creative juices flowing...or wait till next theme!!!!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Fabulous!! The touch of red is perfect.
