How I see? Myself, I need these glasses. Without them, the world is just a soft, hazy blur. With them, I can see crisp detail and edges and glitter. I can see individual leaves and blades and stones, instead of a uniform fuzzy green or grey. I can read signs; and I can read books without bringing them right up to my face. AND I can take pictures! Without my glasses, photography would be impossible--I am way too nearsighted to be able to see what I might want to point a camera at with out them.

Mine are for reading, with all the fine print in this world it is a necessity.
ReplyDeleteAs an admirer of your photography I too am very thankful for those glasses. They serve you well.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my specs too, only I have to take them off to read and take photos as it's distance that defeats me.
ReplyDeleteSame here Bobbie...can't see a thing without mine...life is just a bokeh without em
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteI'm the same, can't see a thing without my glasses. I'd walk into a wall without them. Like your new profile picture. Have a great day!
Sherrie
Nice toning for your glasses image.
ReplyDeleteWe have glasses all over the place -- reading glasses everywhere just in case. Of course te contact lenses don't turn into pictures well.
ReplyDeleteLove the 4s.
I really like how you composed and framed this shot. The processing works really well. I only wear glasses to see!
ReplyDeleteUnique view of the theme! And I love the Hipstamatic interpretation.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Bobbie. Love the tonality of it.
ReplyDeleteM.
That is a wonderful idea for this theme...I am having a hard time with that one. I love the iphone processing and the simplicity of this image! I am just like you, I am pretty much blind w/out my glasses! It is so nice to see the world!
ReplyDeleteNice compact presentation.....am enjoying seeing the world through your eyes!
ReplyDeleteClever punctuation for this theme! I'm glad too that you see with these so well.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I, too, depend on eyeglasses full-time. I remember how wonderful it was to be able to see details when I first got them in 5th grade (and I insisted that my sight was fine!)
