Technically, this is not a seashore. It is a lake shore. But the lake is Lake Superior, a huge inland "sea." It has dunes and winds and waves and storms like a sea--all that is missing is the smell of salt (which, having grown up on islands on the Atlantic coast, I found unsettling at first.)

I would have never known that was not a true sea...this is just beautiful and I love all the blue tones!
ReplyDeleteTechnicalities smechnicalities, Super Shore Shot!
ReplyDeleteIf you can made sandcastles there then it must be a seashore, that's just my take on it.
ReplyDeleteWe live surrounded by Lake Superior and Lake Michigan and I never grow weary of visiting them. Love the blues of the water and sky contrasting with the sand beach.
ReplyDeleteI love this, such an inviting beach and a wonderful perspective.
ReplyDeleteOne fine thing about lakes even great ones is that you don't need to worry about the tide.
looks so inviting, would love to take a long walk there. Going to MN in October I will get a small glimpse of that lake
ReplyDeleteLovely, COLD lake. Folks who have never seen any of the Great lakes sometimes marvel that you can't see the other side.
ReplyDeleteLove the saturated colors! Very serene.I feel like the only one there.
