We went down to Staten Island today for my Mom's 80th birthday party. One the way homw, as we crept along on the Brookly-Queens Expressway, I snagged this shot of the New York City skyline. Neon Glow put a little light in the sky while rendering the buildings in to simple black and white.
They are both what I a foreigner would class as classic NYC shots, and are great, but the red and green on those two buildings really punch it out.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the second one -- I like the colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the color one too - what a great cityscape! Nice clarity and details for taking it on the run!!
ReplyDeleteGreat skyline. You've encompassed it all. I have been to London, Belfast, Paris, San Francisco and I still believe NYC is my all time favorite. There is just something about it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful skyline. I like both shots. I agree with Ron about the red and green, but I also the yellow sky in the b/w. WIN..WIN...excellent
ReplyDeleteWell I'm with Linda on this one. :D Can't decide which one I like the most. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely skyline of Manhatten.
ReplyDeleteI like them both! They remind me of a small scale model of the skyline. Especially the top one.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images, your processing makes it look like a cool illustration.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I do like the neon sky.
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought of using neon glow with that. Great effect! Very creative.
