After driving through record breaking rain in Arizona & New Mexico, we arrived in Oklahoma, where the sun was setting behind newly plowed fields of red earth. I used TiltShift Generator to focus attention on the fence.
I really like this composition... putting the fence in the foreground and then the distant trees with all the red in between. You have a knack for picking the essentials of a place. Sorry to see that you are heading back so soon!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Love that brooding sky. It really sets off the red soil.
