I really like that! You're a bad influence though. haha Just bought Iris Photo Suite and will also get the Dali pack. I've been seeing a lot of that on Flickr and now I see you have it. Really like the effect. Do you have Best Camera app also? I was tempted to get that but chose Iris instead.
I have Best Camera, but I don't find it very useful. The effects are very limited and there's no way to adjust them. Iris PhotoSuite is another matter--SO much one can do with it! It's become of one of the first apps I go to to tweak a photo. Hipstamatic is fun, and right now, I'm playing with what the Dali pack can do; but in the end, fun effects don't beat out good photography; and Iris PhotoSuite (like PhotoForge, PhotoGene and in the non-iPhone world, Elements) are the tools to use the way Ansel Adams did in the darkroom. They take a good photo to its greatest potential.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.

ReplyDeleteI love this...the silhouette of the tree is a great contrast to all the colors of the leaves...a piece of art!
