We were surprised to wake to the sound of a snow plow this morning. Even in New England, this is early for snow. We hope it's not a portent. This was the view out our kitchen window.
Oh nooooooo.....this is not too early for Nebraska (last years first snow was on 10/10)....I think we switched...you get snow and today it is supposed to be 74 degrees here, go figure! Fun image through the screen!
That storm was a surprise! We did not have enough snow in the southern part of the state to photograph. However the streets were quite slippery from the sleet!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
