Effects of Irene, Exhibit A: even the library, where I'd hoped to charge my iPhone, is out of power And I spoke too soon...power went off at 10:30 last night. Even my office is out. Like everyone else we just have to wait. Unfortunately, it could be days.

that stinks. Can you charge it in the car?
ReplyDeletehope you stay safe and that it wont be for long
ReplyDeleteI hesitate to say anything, but we did get power back this evening. Not sure it will last, and I really empathize with those who will be out a week or more.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, Bobbie. Being from the south, I am used to weather coming from the Gulf. A hurricane usually means tornados, flooding, and lose of power for us. Our thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteAwww.. I'm so sorry, Bobbie. I'm crossing my fingers for you that it stays on. I hope everybody else gets power restored soon, too!
ReplyDeleteDarn! Maybe good stories for the grandude or does he shrug it all off?
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you are safe and sound, hope the power gets sorted out soon.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you and your family in these difficult times!
ReplyDeleteOh noooooo so it did go out finally? Hang in there!!!
ReplyDeleteAunt Betsy got her power back on after 36 hours with none. Ugh! Glad you and yours are safe!
ReplyDeleteHope the power is up soon. Stay safe.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you could charge your phone over at Aunt Betsy's? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHope you have some weather normalcy for awhile. Your area has been through the ringer this year.
So sorry...the loss of power can be so devastating...Will hope for the best for you and a speedy power recovery.
