Games/Complexity
I've never really mastered the complexity of chess. I dabbled in it a bit as a kid, but I haven't played it in years. This game was set up on a table in our library. I couldn't decide which photo I liked better, so I'm posting both.

Interesting Lighting - For a Library!
ReplyDeleteAlmost makes me want to learn to play - not. HA! Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the selective focus in both images.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second image, the low down perspective I think works better.
ReplyDeleteChess may be confusing to you, but photography sure isn't. These are great! My personal fave is the first one because of the knights facing opposite directions, but both are great!
ReplyDeleteThe top image is the one I like most...its almost like 2 kids have argued and have turned there heads on each other...and Mum has come in to sort it out
ReplyDeleteNice shots - I favour the top one =)
ReplyDeleteLike the differing dof's very creative. My fav is # 1.
ReplyDeleteI like the top photo. In the lower pic, the lens-babied portion suggests motion that wouldn't be realistic. The top photo has beautiful bokeh.
ReplyDeleteI like the sweet spot in the top shot a lot, lovely light in both of these.
ReplyDeleteI am so bad at chess, but I keep subjecting myself to the boys telling me "you suck" lol Love the sweet, sweet spot...the focus is really perfect!
ReplyDeletechessboards are great to look at but I'm not so good at it. My favourite is the first one however the depth in the second is better
