Extreme Close-up

After yesterday's stinky fish, I figure I owe you all something nicer looking and way better smelling.  Queen Anne's Lace is in bloom now at Paper Goods Pond.  I've always been intrigued and enchanted by that one magenta flower in the center of the cluster of white.

  3. @ Ron--look in the VERY center. It's tiny, but it's there. There's always one single magenta flower in the center of Queen Anne's lace.

  5. Hi Bobbi,
Beautiful! I've always wondered why there is just one magenta in the middle. And yes I see it in your picture. Have a great day!

  6. Beautifully photographed, I like how the outer portion looks to be spinning out of orbit.
