Ferry

This is the tugboat that pulls the Rocky Hill Ferry across the Connecticut River. This ferry I'd the oldest continually operated ferry in the US--plying the waters since 1655. I used ProHDR to take the picture with the iPhone.

  1. I feel like I'm right there waiting for the ferry. The fact that the tug isn't entirely in the frame gives the image some added life and motion, I think. It is just a terrific shot....

  2. It feels like I could just walk into the scene (which would be so cool since I never have been on a Ferry before)! Wonderful composition!
