Edible

In the 30 years that we have lived near Paper Goods Pond, we've seen lots of people fishing. We've never seen anyone who caught more than a few sunnies until tonight. This gentleman was sporting a good sized bass. While it is edible, he says he just does catch and release. He just wanted to gloat a bit to his fishing partner who had originally mocked his chosen spot.

  1. Good to see someone who can handle the interuption posed to the sport of FISHING. Throw it back, maybe it will have more manners next time.

  2. That's fishermen for you, he'll get a lot of mileage out of that one good fish, it's good that he has a catch and release mentality.

  3. The perfect pose, I'm sure he impressed his buddy. I like how the tones look like an old vacation photo, in fact he looks like my uncle Frank...

  4. I'd say he deserves to brag a bit. I like the processing on this - as Ellen said, it looks like an old vacation photo. I'll take her word for it that he looks like Frank.

  7. Hi Bobby,
Looks like a nice catch. Our pond at the park has some whoppers in it. But they are carp and my hubby throws them back. Have a great day!

  12. Reminds me of the old Polaroid images that used to pop out of the camera. A lot has been happening on Paper Goods Pond as of late!

Hey, I just saw Karen Ann sees it as a Polaroid, too!
