Together, this couple sets out in a canoe on Paper Goods Pond paddling into the evening light. (To answer Steven's question, we do kayak on Paper Goods. It's about a quarter of a mike from on end to the other. At the far end, there is a pair of swans who have recently become protective parents of four fluffy grey cygnets. We sometime spy Moby Turtle, an enormous snapper who glides beneath the surface. )

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. It is just so peaceful and serene in subject and in feeling. I love the fact too that we know Paper Goods Pond is the home of Moby Turtle. Every place should have a legend!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and serene light. I spose with Moby Turtle you wouldn't want to trail your fingers in the water as you paddled along!
