Move in day at college--delayed by nearly a week due to damage from tropical storm Irene. It was a long haul from the parking lot to the dorm. Need I say that things got a bit prickly between father and daughter? 365/2011
We experienced this same scene with each of 3 daughters...and there were some tense moments too. Most of those are now long forgotten and replaced by happier ones. Love the processing!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Do tell! What was the friction about, or is it better left unsaid? The look on father's face suggests he is looking forward to Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteLove the processing very much ... and do think things will have been well settled.

Love how you centered the focus on the activity...poor dad and daughter, this is never fun! Glad she got moved!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you captured this moment so they can...um... laugh about it later?
