A long time ago, I read "Green Eggs and Ham" to my younger brothers and sisters. Later, I read it to my children. Still later, I read it to my granddude, Aidan. Now Aidan is reading it by himself. It made him laugh out loud It sort of looks like he's dozing over the book, but that's because of the angle of the shot. I didn't want to distract him by being overt about taking his picture, so I just hovered near by, using the iPhone with the flash off.

I can definitely relate to your post as I have gone through the same evolution with the Dr Seuss books. They used to be only entertaining however now I can apprecitate how well written they are.Aidan is perfectly framed by the wall decor.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have the skill of reading. The world is open to him now. Perhaps Green Eggs and Ham?
ReplyDeleteI am with Steven. Personally I prefer reading to TV!
ReplyDeleteAiden is framed perfectly while enjoying the joy of reading.
ReplyDeleteOops! Steven's right...it's "Green Eggs and Ham" that he's reading. I fixed it.
ReplyDeleteI love the light and framing on this dude and how very intent he is. I wonder if Seuss's "My Book About Me" is still in print.
