Yes, there were a lot of clouds up on the hill at Karabin Farms today--but the sunshine that teased from behind them produced some dazzling light. 365/2011
Different orchard, but in the same town. This one is way up on a hill. Our area was once famous for brick making due to the red clay in the soil. It was wicked to try to get out of the kids' clothes--or even the knees of my gardening pants--so we just gave up and accepted that some stuff was always to be red-stained.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
We call that God Light!
