Sizzling hot
These chili peppers--which are growing upstairs in an AeroGarden in my "Mom cave"--are sizzling hot. Put two of them in a pot of chili or a stir fry, and it'll have a nice bite. A few more and you're at the "five star, no refund" level. BTW this is the first finished photo take with my new D-SLR. As someone suggested, I'm spending time learning one feature at a time. This was the Macro mode.

I love that you have an AeroGarden! Nice shot - I haven't spent much time with my Macro mode, but I will check it out.
ReplyDeleteLove the shallow depth of field and the crisp, hot peppers.
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteGreat macro! Like seeing things up close. These peppers are beautiful. Have a great day!

I suppose that we won't be made privvy to the "Mum Cave" LoL but this shot indicates many a Hot Time in your Eerie.
ReplyDeleteSizzling red...and with the very beautiful green leaves it reminds me of Christmas!! Great work with the macro
ReplyDeleteGreat contrasting colours, looks like you're a quick learner with this new toy.
ReplyDeleteLove the composition and the colors, it's very well arranged.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog, I had started my own 365 photo challenge about 10 days ago and had started looking for a community where I could stay motivated while giving and getting feed back. I love the chilli pepper shot, colors are fantastic and they look hot
ReplyDeleteLois--I am working on my third year. It's a lot of work, requires sustained effort, but it's worth it. I'm not sure I can take a fourth. I need a different project for 2012.
ReplyDeleteLove the greens and reds, as well as the shallow DoF. My wife made a meal in which she misread the chipotle chili requirements. It called for 2 canned and she put in two cans. What's 32 chili's among family?
ReplyDeleteA lovely first posted shot from the new camera. I think you will love the low light possibilities as the sun slips away.
ReplyDeletegreat strong colors and small hot peppers always come handy in the kitchen. Looks like the new camera will produce great photos having you behind it :-)
