The photo was taken with the iPhone, but I did the processing in Elements (version 8, which I kinda hate. Loved 5, the version I had before 8.) I've put the battery in the new camera & I'm learning not to be afraid of holding it--I've never had a camera that cost so much before! I'm absorbing the manual & a book I bought about it. This weekend looks good weather-wise, so I'll venture out with it then.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
It is supposed to be taken this year, not when your Grandma was a young Girl. LOL
