Sunshine

Yes, there were a lot of clouds up on the hill at Karabin Farms today--but the sunshine that teased from behind them produced some dazzling light.

  2. I like how the high saturation of the ground contrasts with the sky. The orange/red clay sure carries the eye around the corner of the orchard.

  7. I love the red road with those clouds. Is this the orchard you often refer to?

  8. Wow...the color of the soil is really vibrant and makes for real definition of the road in your photo. Beautiful colors and scene!

  9. Different orchard, but in the same town. This one is way up on a hill. Our area was once famous for brick making due to the red clay in the soil. It was wicked to try to get out of the kids' clothes--or even the knees of my gardening pants--so we just gave up and accepted that some stuff was always to be red-stained.
