Shopping is one of those domestic tasks--represented by carts outside Stew Leonard's. This iPhone photo was almost monotone as it was, but I used MonoPhix Lite to render it entirely into B&W.
I'm so impressed with what you can do with an iPhone. I've been insisting that my Canon 950IS will have to do as I can not afford an SLR.... and here you are accomplishing the assignments, beautifully with an iPhone.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
I love the scattered carts all all of those lines...black and white is the perfect processing for this! Fun and disorderly! :)
ReplyDeletePerfect processing to highlight the disorderly order....

ReplyDeleteNice shot for domestic.
What terrific composition and clarity in this one, Bobbie! I love the lack of color for this shot. Great interpretation of theme.
