John & I stayed last night at a local hotel attending a workshop for a program at the high school for which we volunteer. The hotel was also hosting a conference for professional photographers. They apparently had a lesson on shooting weddings staged by the pool. I caught a few shots with the iPhone from different angles; somehow I liked this one with the table & umbrella in the foreground best--maybe because it hints at the idea that the activity behind it actully isn't reality. I used CameraBag to help shift the focus to the umbrella and to make the lighting just a bit more intense and not quite real.

The unbrella in the foreground and the group of people in the background makes for a very interesting image.
ReplyDeleteI agree w/ you about the table and umbrella...a nice foreground element leading back to the class...I bet that was fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteHa, for a minute I thought they were all watching someone in the pool behind the umbrella. It does make you wonder what is going on! Cool!
