At the Hartford Flower Show, there' a vendor who sells butterflies This one was resting on the glass of the display case. It has dramatic geometric patterns on its wings. The photo was taken with my little Kodak Z915. I darkened the background and brightened the butterfly a bit with Elements.

A gorgeous butterfly. The white of the butterfly contrasts so well with the black background. If you buy a butterfly, what do you do with it?
ReplyDeleteI love those white butterflies...the pattern and color is just so striking!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you buy the pupa, then it hatches. I guess you can keep it in a terrarium after it cmes out...I've never actually asked! Me, I think butterflies belong outdoors.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful, geometric symmetry. Who knew one could be a butterfly farmer?
ReplyDeleteThat may be the best of the 'geometric' theme images I've seen. It's just beautiful, Bobbie!
