Philodendron

This is the philodendron in my cubicle at work. The picture was taken with the iPhone with the Ancient Canvas effect applied in PhotoStudio.

  1. It looks like it is tumbling over a wall in Tuscany...

  3. Very nice! Love the textured background; really makes that plant pop.

My Aunt Betsy said she chatted with you in the library. Small world, eh?? :-)

  4. There is a marvelous contrast between the brown the background and the dark green leaves. The leaves look so fresh and dimensional.

  5. Neat! Now I have to ask, how you apply the texture on the background and not the leaves in an iPhone app? I'm sure you can't mask like you would in Photoshop. Confused admirer here!

(Also would like to know how on earth you happen to know Val's aunt???????)

  6. A)The app just did it! There's no way to adjust most of them. It can be a frustration or a delight, depending on the outcome.
    B) I live in a small town. When Val found out which town it was, she realized her aunt is a librarian here. I love to read, so I'm at the library a lot, so I've known her aunt for years. Blows my mind, really!
