Emptiness

At this point, the old factory building near our home is empty. The weeds growing by the doorway and the battered windows stand as testimony to the emptiness. Not for long! John & I got caught trespassing today as we explored the back of the property...but (perhaps because we are old farts) instead of being driven off or arrested, we were given a private tour of the part of the building that's been developed. It's absolutely stunning what they are making of what was once just a moldering ruin. The photo was taken & processed in Photo+.

  3. The plant in front of the door gives a nice hint that this is an abandoned building. I like how clear and bright this is.

  4. Such warm color in the brick. I have really like seeing this factory in many of your photos. How nice that the redevelopment is going on in this tough time for building.
