We have had a respite from incessant snow in the past week or two. Since temps have seldom risen much above freezing for a significant amount of time, we still have huge piles of now ugly snow everywhere. Businesses are faced with treacherous parking lots, plus the stuff they've had to clear from huge flat roofs. At Lowe's today, they were carting off heavy snow in heavy trucks using heavy equipment. I do wonder where they were taking it.

We have the same problem here, but they have some "vaporizing trucks" - they cart the snow, dump it in the truck and steam comes out.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they will take it to the incinerator and burn it? Can you see earth yet or just asphalt?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Snow in Brisbane (Ever thank Heavens)But we had many similar scenes, when they cleaned up the mud in Brisbane following the recent floods, but it was messier and heaps smellier I bet! than Snow and Salt would be!
ReplyDeleteIf they want their customers to come back they have to make it safe - I wonder where they take it also.
ReplyDeleteBye bye, snowflakes....
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteGreat capture for the theme. We have the same thing here. Some of those piles of snow will be here well into summer. lol Just kidding. Have a great day!

Snow dumps of course!
ReplyDeleteI love the effect here. I seriously thought it was your grandson's Tonkas!
Who cares...at least it is going bye, bye! :) We reached 60 degrees here today...still snow left but it is melting quickly!
ReplyDeleteI thought toy trucks too. I wonder how much yucky stuff is hauled away with the mountains of snow.
ReplyDeleteheavy machines, ready for action, hope that will help a lot.
