Vacation Day 6 (Landscape)

Four and a half hour hike today, most of it along a pristine mountain stream. This was the view near the end. Totally worth the effort! Added bonus--as we were driving back to the campground, we took a detour along a "motor nature trail" and we saw a bear.

  1. Seeing a bear while hiking is a little too close to nature for me, but I'm glad you are having a good time.

  4. I could use that view right about now...wow, gorgeous. Yesterday must have been the day of bears...my husband's parents are in the Seqoias and saw a bear too.

  5. What a breathtaking view. Sounds like a perfect vacation day with a hike through beautiful scenery and a bear sighting from a motor tour.
