Filter Gallery is a great place to just play around with different filter combinations. I ended up with Half Tone and Posterize. I like the woodcut sort of look, but it also seemed too flat to me--so I erased the effect on the apple sitting on top.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Another fun picture with filters - this really changed the color tones and look of the whole image! Nice!

ReplyDeleteVery nice, Bobbie! Erasing the effect from that one apple makes it look like a real apple has been placed on a flat illustration or poster. Cool!
