I never thought I'd find a use for the Craquelure filter--but it seems to bring out the battered, almost weary, nature of this rusted work car.

  1. One man's opinion only but the real live crackel does it better due to it's haphazard nature, but I need to ask why no sky at all in either shot, I feel it detracts due to a feeling of unnatural, but would love to know why, email if you like. Ron

  2. Not sure how to email you, but the answer is that, immediately over the trains is a highway overpass. (See the picture from January 14 for a different perspective.) There IS no sky.

  3. Sky or no sky love the vibrant colors and rusted sides.

  4. On the small pics it is hard to see the effect, but once you make it larger, WOWZER! It makes a bit difference!
