Outside, it was a dirty day with fitful showers of raw rain. On the altar at church, however, there was color in the stained glass rose window over the altar and the flowers that were around it. These three daisies caught my eye (and kept distracting me from the homily.)
Love the bright colors--looks like a print I saw recently in a fancy kitchen store! And at least you can blame the daisies for the distraction; my mind wandered off during Sunday's homily and didn't return until my husband nudged me to stand!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
