Tonight, we went to a production of Godspell at a local church. At one point, I reached for my camera to find that -GASP-I'd left my camera at home. Fortunately, I had my cell phone. I was able to snap this shot of the climax. Obviously, it's not a high quality photo; but the Watercolor filter smooths out some of the more glaring imperfections, such as the colored artifacts and the blurriness.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Thank God for cellphones! Even keeping a camera in my purse, I end up not having my purse when I need the camera!!
