Hands

One of the cool things about cell phone photography is that the phones are inconspicuous. So-called smart phones like the iPhone are used for so many tasks that people tend to have them in their hands--which facilitates "stealth photography." At a meeting this evening, I snagged this shot of the well-worn hands of on of the other committee members. Processing was done in PhotoForge and Tilt Shift Generator.

  1. I like the image but would remind you and others that other people have iPhones too, are the all Kosher?

  2. Very sneaky! The perspective makes the hands look oversize.

  3. Those hands almost look 3D - love how they come out at you! Dramatic processing!

  4. Interesting play of light/dark. Those hands don't look like they lack experience...maybe could be called 'worn' as well.

  5. Cool shot! I don't imagine your unwitting subject would mind this image at all....

  7. Bobbie, I'm still impressed that you can get so many good photos out of the iPhone!
