I was hard pressed to come up with a photo for this last theme before the month ended--and then I found this swan with it's long thin elegant neck. It was sailing through rain-swollen Paper Goods Pond. Swans look graceful, but they can be vicious; this one hissed at me as I aimed my iPhone at it. I used PhotoForge to soften the shot and to make the swan the focus.

Bobbi, I love the feel of the last 2 shots. Did you apply textures to both? Nice work.
ReplyDeleteLove the romantic feel of this, absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNo filters...This one has a tilt shift filter applies in PhotoForge. The one of the Connecticut River was taken with ClassicToy, one of a number of apps that emulate old cameras and film.
ReplyDeleteAgain you stop me in my tracks with your I-phone images...
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and like you I had the Thin theme to do but i did not make it....
ReplyDeleteWow, to everybody who makes all themes each month Im impressed!

You got the thin theme in, I didn't! We don't have swans floating around here, but other birds come and go in migrating season.
ReplyDeleteYour filters are amazing!
I really love the swan's surrounding blur. There is something about your iPhone shots that always have such cool lighting and drama to them. Super.
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of this too, and repeat how much I love what you do with your phone!
