At the library yesterday, I picked up free tickets to an advance screening of the new version of "Jane Eyre." lt was excellent: true to the book, dark, Gothic and brooding. This is the entrance to the theater--quite a contrast to the film! 365/2011
Your theatre has such an interesting and graphic exterior which your photo emphasizes. I love the British type dramas so will make sure I don't miss this.
My wife loves all the Jane Eyre, Emily Bronte, heavy dialogue films. Watches and reads them all the time. Personally I have the attention span of a gnat. Great that you got the googleplex shot without any people in it!
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
I agree about the contrast, all that red is very cheery.
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to that movie...loved the book! I love the processing on this..really makes that red the center of interest!

ReplyDeleteThis has a nice art deco feeling.
ReplyDeleteI really like your straight-on angle and the fact that there are no people in the picture.
