Although I admit to having a few issues with St. Paul (especially regarding the status of women), he was a man of courage and conviction, who was willing to change and who wrote passionately and brilliantly about his faith--a hero. He was portrayed at our church tonight in a presentation challenging us to be more fully engaged in living out that faith.

ReplyDeletePaul gets a bad rap. I'm one of those who thinks some one else added a few thoughts to his letters - after the fact.
ReplyDeleteI have been involved in a pretty intense study of Acts for the past year, and I am sort of liking Paul. We have to remember the social mores of his day.
