I like the textures of the counter showing through while the spoon maintains a strong outline. Couple that with a slight reflection of an overhead light which casts a soft spoon shadow and we have a detailed minimalist image!
These transparent spoons are so much more elegant than the original white plastic! BTW...we are green and don't toss after just one use unless we aren't near washing facilities. Call me cheap but we wash them up and reuse! Great photo of one of those taken for granted everyday objects.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
I think I was born with one of them in my mouth, I know it wasn't wooden cause that was what Mum used to tan my tail!
ReplyDeleteDigiscrappers work really hard to get this "acrylic" look on frames and lettering. All they had to do was photograph a spoon!
