Waiting

I'm going for one of the free themes for this photo of a man waiting--for whom or what?

  1. I really like the processing on this....the focal point, the suggestion of a vignette around the edges, the high-contrast b&w. Quite moody.

  2. Lovely dreamy look. I like to think he's waiting for the shop to close and go home with whoever is inside...

  3. I think it is my husband impatiently waiting while I shop in the camera shop lol Love the processing, this is so timeless!

  4. I really love your gritty take for this image. It does capture the imagination!

  5. I can't decide if what I'm seeing is anticipation or boredom on the man's part. But, I am also grabbed by the processing of this image. I'm going to have to try and re-create this with my tools...

The other thing I like and keep meaning to mention is how your images open up onto that really spare, black&white page. I guess that is the blogpress app that creates that?

  6. I think the now open sign is important...he is now open to "life"...happening. :)

  7. I think he is waiting for the city works crew to come and move this bench so it faces the road where there is more to see. Black and white works real well with this image.

  8. I'm not sure if he is anticipating or dreading what he is waiting for.
